We were staying near the state forest with zero phone signal, just googled a random place to eat without expecting much… but wow, this spot totally surprised us! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was honestly so good—fresh, tasty, and just hit the spot. My husband got something else (I forgot what it was, oops), but he really liked his too. Super friendly staff and cozy little place. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!

A Hidden Gem - Perfect Before a Hike! My party had a BIG hike planned but around lunchtime realized we'd be too hungry get far. As we searched for a place to grab a quick bite, we stumbled across Cedar Mountain Café. Since that 'happy accident,' we've added it to our must-eat diners in Greenville. The café is cozy and friendly. It supports many local artists, photographers, and non-profits. Not only does the food taste amazing, but you can contribute to a bigger cause. The cooks are happy to customize your order if you'd like something modified or removed, and the portion sizes easily filled me up. If you're heading out for a hike, stop by Cedar Mountain Café for a quick pit stop. Your taste buds will thank you!

After a long morning of hiking, we were starving and so glad we found this place! It's a very small and cute diner and as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by a very friendly staff and were seated right away. The first thing that caught my attention was their wide variety of food for being such a small place. I asked the waitress about their chicken salad sandwich and she was overly excited about how good it was so I had to give it a try. Perfect combination of mayonnaise and seasoning but they threw a little something different with some sweet chopped onions and it was phenomenal! I had never had chicken salad with onions but it really brought the sandwich together with their garden fresh tomatoes and just the right amount of lettuce. I paired it with their potato salad and wow it was great! My wife ordered the fried buffalo chicken and it was a massive pounded out chicken breast golden fried with a very good buffalo sauce on it. She had the sweet potato fries and they were thick and hand cut. My kids ordered burgers who both finished every bit and said they were really good. If you are near Dupont State Park and hungry you really have to stop by. We want to go back because they have so many items to choose from and everything looked great!

Good food options and tasty, well-cooked food. A solid place in the area, with a nice patio of outdoor seating. Gets busy at weekends and more so in the summer… but a good place to visit.

Best breakfast we've had in so long!! I got the breakfast wrap with chorizo avo & chipotle mayo, wife got french toast. Burrito was so good, we had to order another to go! Staff (Brooke) was very friendly, and shared info about local restaurants and attractions. Coffee was great to boot! Will be back, a definite must visit if you are visiting the Pretty Place Chapel!

Ms Debbie the owner and Kenna/Cole our servers took such great care of us. All the food is inspired by her experiences and made with love. She accommodated my family of 8 for 3 visits in 2 days. Even held a table on Sunday morning in anticipation of us arriving. You can’t go to Cedar Mountain without coming here. Highly recommended!
